Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology.

Since 2007 SUI has collaborated with Srishti School of Art, Design, and Technology, Bangalore. Students specializing in Visual Communication design, Textile design, Furniture and Interior design, and Product design have been involved in different aspects of design intervention in the Hoysala Heritage Region with the objective of developing designs that are responsive to local contexts, resources, and needs. Directed by Dr. Jyoti Hosagrahar begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting, the design interventions are aimed at generating sustainable livelihoods and supporting cultural tourism while safeguarding the natural and cultural heritage of the region.
